The Textiles Committee, a prestigious statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is offering an exciting opportunity for young professionals to join as Project Assistants (Textile Testing). This three-year program is designed to provide hands-on training, skill enhancement, and a comprehensive understanding of textile testing methodologies.

Position: Project Assistant (Textile Testing)

Duration: 3 years

Stipend: Rs. 26,000.00 per month for the first year, with a 3% increase based on performance evaluation for the remaining 2 years

Locations: Various regions across India, including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi (NCR), Mumbai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kannur, Karur, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Ludhiana, and Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years (as of March 31, 2024)
  • Educational Qualification: B.Sc in Physics or Chemistry, or B.Tech in Textile Technology

Job Description:

  • Engage in textile testing activities under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Receive in-depth training on various aspects of textile testing and analysis of test data.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and enhancement processes in textile testing.

  • Selection will be based on interview/written test, the details of which will be communicated to the candidates.
  • The Textiles Committee reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on qualification and experience.

Important Notes:

  • This is a temporary position for a duration of 3 years.
  • No allowances other than the stipend will be provided.
  • Only 8 days of casual leave are admissible; no earned leave or medical leave will be permitted.
  • Travel Allowance (TA) / Dearness Allowance (DA) will not be provided.
